SUMAT Centers are different.

We recognize you don’t want to be in a doctor’s office or waiting room. That is why we don’t want our centers to look or feel like one.

We structure our recovery programs to maximize the time and commitment you make to be here. Every moment you spend with us, is one step closer to recovery.

Our individualized treatment programs take place in community-oriented, walk-in clinics like no other you have experienced. The offices throughout the metro Baltimore area are designed to ensure each patient receives care that is focused on addressing their specific substance use and recovery journey, by implementing a plan most conducive to achieving the best possible results.

This is all part of our effort to radically change the way people think about the treatment and recovery process of substance abuse and addiction disorders.

What Is Medication-Assisted treatment?

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications such as Suboxone, Subutex and Sublocade in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat these disorders, and for some people struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery.

The details of my experience with Doctor Dombrowski are difficult to put into words. I have seen doctors from all over the country—Mayo Clinic, Rochester; Johns Hopkins; and many well-credentialed MDs all from all over the DC Metro Area. In short, not one of the other doctors I have seen compares to Dr. D. in any of the myriad qualities I seek to find with a physician.
